Somebody's Darling's self-titled debut will feature many of the (great) songs that appeared on last year's teaser EP, plus some delicious new concoctions. ...not only can Farris shout it out like an alt-country Aretha Franklin, but guitarist David Ponder isn't exactly a slouch in the songwriting department, either. Together, the two, along with a tight rhythm section, merge old-school honky-tonk with pop and soul.
